Save the Dates

Hi everyone!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments yesterday. Liz was so excited and appreciative :)

Today I was planning on sharing our Save the Dates.

I was a little worried because AJ and I sent ourselves one, but we never got it. But I wasn't too worried, AJ thought it was because our return address and the address on the envelope were the same (I still think this really isn't a big deal, but it was reason enough to make me stop freaking out, so it worked)

Until I got Liz's text last night. Apparently, she never got her Save the Date either!

We aren't sure what is going on!

But, I'm going to share them anyway, because I don't know what else to do. Beside email a random sampling of guests from every area that we mailed them to and see who got them. (Yes, that is what happens when you ask a science teacher and an engineer to solve a problem. We come up with a random sampling survey! Rock on Scientific Method!)

We actually sent out two different Save the Dates because I couldn't decide which color I liked best!

Which color do you like best?

Those are too adorable!!!
So clever :)
And I guess I like the green because I tend to be drawn towards cooler colors. But I like the yellow, too :)

I love them-how cool are these!! I think I like the green the best but that's one of my favorite colors, so what do I know?
And "Rock on Scientific Method" had me LOLing. You crack me up.

these are so cute and just perfect for a science teacher. Hopefully, they eventually find their way to the recipients! I like the green best, but then I am not a huge yellow fan myself. Have a great afternoon!

Love these!!! Such a great idea!

I agree, check with some people you are close to in order to see if they received them. If they didn't, perhaps you can send an email to your guests including a PDF or JPG of the Save the Date? You can say something along the lines of you know some people didn't receive it and you want to make sure everyone has the date in advance, etc.

Those turned out so COOL!!!! I like the green one better but they both look great!! Yours have to be the most unique and creative save the date cards ever!! I hope everybody gets them.
You guys crack me up with your random sampling and "rock on scientific method'!! Love it!!
And of course I love your wedding date. :)

Oh my gosh Katie, these are so adorable and creative! My first thought was, I love the green and then I saw the yellow and I loved it! So I'm glad you sent both :) I think it's a good idea to call randomly and see if people got them. So weird... Better to get it figured out now before you send the real thing!!

I didn't get mine either, teehee jk.
I have always wondered what would happen if I sent something with the same address and return address on it?
