Excel, challenge, create, honor and serve are the five pillars of our school's mission statement. I thought it would be nice to use my small bulletin board to remind students of these important words. I love the "crossword" look! And of course, I couldn't resist the urge to use a nice bright orange to help brighten up the room!
This board has all of my homeroom students' names on in. So they had to be blacked out. Originally, the plan was to use a blue calendar here, but my room is so so big you couldn't see the calendar from the back, so I changed my mind. I'm excited to change out this bulletin board's theme for different seasons!
Now I just need to find some science current event articles...I'll grab a paper on my way to work tomorrow and cut out at least one or two articles so my board doesn't look so bare!
So, I'm writing this on Tuesday night, but it'll be Wednesday morning when it posts! I hope that I was able to get a good night's sleep
Do you scare easily (like me) or do you like scary movies?
oh looks great! i just did a wall decoration using my vinyl and my cameo! I made in red Pablo Picasso in the vinyl and then hung his art all around it! turned out great. i will have to get a photo. i also want to do another one with joan miro!
ReplyDeleteI MISS doing bulletin boards. So fun :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I used to LOVE scary movies, but not so much anymore. Now even previews scare the heck out of me sometimes. And I have learned that there is just some stuff that I don't want to see!

ReplyDeleteMy friend and neighbour is a teacher and after she put her class together she was upset that she didn't ask me to help her.
I love scary movies. I watch them over and over again :)
LOL, normally I'd say that scary movies don't bother me, but once after watching Arachnid, I literally jumped and screamed when I thought a patch of crabgrass growing in a concrete walk way was a spider...I had a big laugh at myself over that! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
