Katie Stories Etsy Shop

Happy Monday everyone!

I am back at school today. To be honest, I'm not super excited about it. Waking up before the sun is out will take some getting used to again!

But, I did something over break that I am super excited about! I opened an Etsy shop!

I am selling some of my favorite 8x10 prints. Here a few examples of my favorites...

Please stop by and see what else is available.

If you see something you like, I am currently offering a coupon code for my blog friends! Just enter "JAN10" at checkout to receive a 10% discount. This code is active now - January 31, 2013.

I hope you are able to stop by! I'll be back tomorrow with a crafty project :)

Halloween Mini Album by Forever Daisies

Well, yesterday I wasn't able to have any scrapbook time either!

I had a meeting at work, and didn't get out until 6pm! But I would have had to have stayed until 6pm anyway, because there was a problem with my CTA card, and I had to wait for AJ to come get me at work, because of course I didn't have exact change for the bus!

So by the time I got home, it was almost 6:30, instead of 4:30 like I'd planned, so no crafting for me!

Fortunately, I do have some awesome craftiness to share from Kimberly at Forever Daisies. She is a fellow blogger who just opened an Etsy shop!

Of course, I had to check it out when it opened. And as soon as I saw this adorable mini album, I just had to have it!

I just love having holiday themed albums as part of our decor. For Christmas, I put all of our December Daily albums and card "books" (aka. Christmas cards from our family and friends, hole punched and bound together) in a basket as part of our decor. I thought this little mini album would be so cute on our end table for our Halloween decor. I'm planning on adding one picture every year with us dressed up for Halloween. So after 10/26/12, it will have two pictures in it!

Kimberly even included this matching Halloween card with the album! I think I'm going to send it to my Nonni for Halloween. I think she'd appreciate getting a card - she always has the ones she receives displayed in her dining room!

Does anyone else feel like this week is just flying by? I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday and it is time for another Project Life page. Fortunately, I do have it ready for tomorrow!

Disclaimer: The items in this post were purchased by me for my home, I was not compensated for this post. I just really love Kimberly's Etsy shop, so I wanted to share!

Etsy?

I've been thinking about opening an Etsy shop. But to be honest, I'm a little scared!

I started thinking about this about a week ago. It seemed like a good idea. But despite the good-ideaness of it, I was a little worried. What is my stuff isn't good enough? What if no one likes it? What if no one buys it?

So I put the idea on the back burner.

Then, last Sunday, I went shopping with the girls. We went into a fancy card store (which shall remain nameless) because my friend's boyfriend just got a new job, and she wanted to send him a card. They had some very cute "congratulations" cards. But, they were so expensive - and we are both part time teachers, so expensive cards are not in our budgets! So I said to her, don't buy one, I'll make you one.

And she offered to pay me for it. I mean, I'm not going take money from my girl friend for something I offered to do to save her some money! That would defeat the purpose of helping out my friend who helps me out all the time! But, it got the idea going again.

So, I think I'm really going to set up an Etsy shop. Obviously, I'll need to build up a bit of an inventory before I start selling. But I'm exited.

Maybe someone should send me this card instead!

(Except I'm still a little scared...)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
