Valentine's Day Candy Cane Wreath

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday! It was supposed to be my catch up on scrapbooking day. I ordered all of my pictures to be printed on Friday and picked up an hour later at Target. I was planning on picking them up at lunch, but got sidetracked, so I figured I'd run out Monday morning and get them. Except, I got a phone call Sunday morning that Target's photo printer had broken, and my pictures wouldn't be able to be printed until next Thursday! I reordered them from CVS, but instead of catching up on scrapbooking all day, I did other crafty projects instead.

Heather, at our life in a click, used her leftover candy canes to make this awesome wreath last year. We also had tons of leftover candy canes, so I thought this would be a great project for them!

I love how this turned out! And it was super easy to put together. The hardest part was cutting out the heart :)

Right now, it is hanging on my front door, but I think I'm going to move it to the bathroom door - there is nothing to hang on those two little hooks next to it, and I have an idea for a project that would use all three hooks up!

Well, I'm off to get ready for work, but tomorrow is already WOYWW, and right now, there is a Valentine's Day project on my workdesk! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I was so bummed to head back to work today :( I told Mike I needed one more day. He said, but you already had an extra day! Ha!

OMG this is adorable. I have so many candy canes left over...not sure if they are red and white though.
I am so going to try this.
I was thinking you could make two small hearts for either side :)
