We had a very quiet weekend considering how busy we were! On Friday night, AJ's college friend came by to hang out/sleep over before he went to visit his family in Chicago. Then on Sunday, a family friend was in town, so we all went to a Cubs game. We had a great time, but it was hot! I re-applied my sunscreen 4 times in the 2.5 hours we were at the game and I still managed to get slightly burned!
I had taken all of my scavenger hunt pictures by Saturday night, but we had to run out of the house on Sunday, and by the time I got home from the game, I was so exhausted from all the sun that I fell asleep on the couch!

We ordered dinner and they sent us this cute little cupcake. I saw it and thought, "Oh, I'll photograph that for sweet after we eat dinner!". I didn't share this thought with AJ, and then he started eating the cupcake! I'm not sure if he found it amusing or kind of annoying when I said, "Yeah, sure I'd like to try the cupcake", but then proceeded to have a mini photo shoot with it instead!
Hanging Around
Hanging around Saturday afternoon, too tired to even make our own lunches! Fortunately, Jimmy John's delivers very quickly!

We sat in the bleachers on Sunday. It was a very different perspective from sitting in the stands and made Wrigley Field seem much more spacious!

I have never been to a big game. I have gone to a few local ones in town, but am sure a big one is so much more exciting.
