Olympic Journaling Cards

So, I took some of your advice and just made something simple to help break out of my crafty slump.

I've been thinking of a fun way to incorporate the Olympics into my Project Life pages, because AJ makes me watch them every night. (Seriously, how can he be so interested in random sports?! I mean, he was yelling at the tv during men's gymnastics. Men's gymnastics! Oh man!)

This journaling card is really really simple, but surprising, it took a really long time to get those circles to sit right!

But, it definitely made me feel crafty again. After yoga today, I'm going to clean my desk so I can be crafty at the desk instead of on the floor. That will probably help too! I hate having to keep getting up to find things on my messy desk!

<--Also, check out my new social media icons. They were free from Kirstin at Craftiments, and you can get a set for your blog here in 10 fabulous colors!

Are you including the Olympics or any sporting events in your Project Life?

Oh my gosh, that journaling card is awesome! I love what you did! We were talking at work yesterday about how sleep deprived we are because of these dang Olympics! Ha!

That is perfect!
What a cute idea :)
I have loved the Olympics this year. I mean what I have been able to watch. Mostly on the DVR :)
But the women's gymnastics and the swimming have been high on my list.

Ummm...the 'Lympics (as my 3 year old calls them) have been on in constant rotation at our house! My older boys are hooked. We drew countries and are "competing" for gold medals (candy). :)
How did you do those rings? I'd love to do something like that to make a page about our family watching the Olympics and creating our own challenge.
Love those social media icons!

I'm sure that it did take forever to get those circles right. But it looks like it was worth it.

I love the Olympic rings, you did a fantastic job on them, and, no, I haven't done anything with the olympics, but since ya;ll are doing these daily journals, it makes perfect sense. I happen to love watching them and watch all day and into the night. I admit I have my favorites but I love the competition! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

We've been pretty hooked on the Olympics but I usually forget it all so it's so smart to write some of the stats down! I love the interlocking circles..it does NOT look simple. Maybe a tutorial in the future?
I've been wanting social media buttons. Cool! Going to check them out!!
That's funny about AJ yelling about men's gymnastics!

Wow your journaling cards turned out awesome.
I haven't watched too much of the Olympics as I have been outside so much. But always watch the winter ones.

Sorry but I am with AJ on the Olympics. They do not get over here on the west coast until 12.30am and I have to get in the morning and go to work. I am tireddd! Your creation will be so much fun to look back on over the years!
