Oh man. How is it Monday already?! We had such a crazy day yesterday. AJ had to work until 3am on Saturday night (which of course meant that I didn't sleep either!)
Sunday, we woke up early to go to church. But when we got home, we realized we didn't have anything in the house for lunch. We also realized I needed a new parking sticker for my car. So we went back out to get a city sticker for my car and grab something to eat/watch the football game. Of course, the city sticker machine wasn't working, and we couldn't find anywhere we wanted to eat that would also be showing the game! All the places with the nice TVs have bad food, and all the places with the good food have bad TVs!
We finally decided to just stop at the Italian deli, and watch the game at home. Well, AJ watched the game, I proceeded to fall asleep for a few hours!
So that's the long story behind why I'm a day late today!
Nature
Even in the middle of the city, if you look just right, you can pretend you are in the middle of a forest!
These wooden water towers used to be all over Chicago. Many of them have been torn down since, and they are now protected from being destroyed.
Whimsical
I love this church. It has a huge courtyard with lots of windows and walkways overlooking it. It looks like something out of a fairy tale.
Cooking
On Sunday afternoons, we always have special dinners. Yesterday was baked ziti. Yum!
Week's Best
AJ said this pumpkin latte was the best one he'd ever had!
This is the last image I'll leave you with for today.

I love your pictures of Chicago! Great compositions. I grew up there and always enjoy seeing it portrayed through art.
i LOVE chicago! And I love the different churches found throughout the city. Great shot. I love building taken over by vines and leaves.
That church is spectacular!! I've been stuck on Whimsy but I think I've finally figured out what I'll use!
That latte looks amazing and so does the ziti! Yum yum! So cool about the wooden water towers being protected now.
Great pictures, haven't done a scavenger hunt in ages! So you need to have AJ take a picture of you napping during the games for your Project Life book! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
