Easter Egg Dying

Usually, I would dye Easter eggs the night before Easter, but this year, I was in New York until Easter morning, so AJ and I couldn't dye them until Sunday! We decided to dye eggs after we had appetizers after church - but I accidentally fell asleep! (In my defense, I had gotten up at 4:30am eastern that morning to fly back to Chicago by 8am central, I was very tired!)

After I woke up, we decided to dye the eggs!

I lined up all the fabulous colors in rainbow order, because why wouldn't I put them in rainbow order?! Turns out, we had too many colors for the number of cups we had.

We also had too many colors for the number of eggs we had. Since I believe we have to use every single color, we got creative!
All of our pretty eggs sitting in a little wreath.

I decided most of my eggs needed four colors each, so that we could maximize our color usage. This is red-yellow-green-indigo.

I also did a take on a sunset by the water, I love the way this one came out!

My first adventure into four colors, the Easter-y-est colors I could find!

AJ used by Xyron sticker maker to turn this piece of the memory game that came with our egg dying kit into a decal for his yellow egg. He was especially proud of this one!

He also made a tie-dye egg. He is much more craft than I expected!
This is a plain green egg, but I took a picture of him, so he deserves to be displayed!
AJ's "Italian Jersey Shore egg".

There was one more egg I accidentally didn't get a picture of, it was a pretty blue and green color :)

I have to ask, what do you do with your Easter eggs? I don't eat hard boiled eggs, and AJ left for a trip on Tuesday, so I've got a lot just sitting here, looking at me every time I open my fridge!

I always blow out our eggs because I can't part with our masterpieces. haha!! I never ate the hardboiled ones after I dyed them either.(though I do love hb eggs, egg salad and deviled eggs...just not after I've dyed them). You guys were very creative! Love your rainbow eggs and AJ's Jersey shore one !

Lovely eggs.
I know you picked a winner of a hubby-to-be, for the simple matter of him being so creative ;)
I would make egg salad or deviled eggs. Or make potato salad and I slice the eggs up as a topping and also mix them in.
