Project Life

Yesterday was a great Thursday! In addition to getting to see our gorgeous engagement photos, my amazing students had a surprise birthday party for me! They ordered pizza and got a cake and brought chips. It was so thoughtful of them.

They won't be in school tomorrow (professional development day), but when we are all in school again, I am going to bring them a special treat. I'm thinking a dessert party might be in order!

Then, when I got home, I had another birthday "surprise" waiting for me.

The surprise wasn't what was in the package (I had ordered it as a birthday present to myself!) but the surprise was that it came early!

Here's a little sneak peek into the box...

Yep! That's right, I've decided to join in on Project Life!

Except instead of starting on January 1, 2012, I decided to start on my 25th birthday and scrap the whole year that I am 25. I'm so excited for my page protectors to get here so I can start setting up my title page :)

Do you have any plans this weekend? My birthday always falls right around Mother's Day, so this is the first time I won't be having a Mother's Day/Katie's Birthday party with my family, but I couldn't fly home this weekend :( But instead, I will be going out with friends Saturday, and having a special birthday dinner with AJ on Sunday night. So that should be fun too!

Have a wonderful weekend and a very happy Mother's Day! I will see you all on Monday :)

How sweet are they? I think a dessert party is a great idea :) I'm so excited you're doing Project Life!!! I had the hardest time deciding between cobalt and clementine. I'll live vicariously through you and your cobalt! Ha! Have a WONDERFUL birthday weekend!!
