I also worked on my Project Life Week 13 this week. It was only slightly depressing as it was the last week of summer, and now school is back in full swing!

I tried a new technique this week. Well, I re-tried a new technique.
I decided to embroider those curly cues on the journaling card up in the middle row of the first picture. It took a really long time, but I really like how it turned out.
This was actually the second time I tried to embroider, the first time, it did not go well! My needle was too big and was causing these huge holes in the paper! But, now that I've got the right tools, I think I'm going to use this technique more often!

I'm getting sad about summer ending!! That embroidery is so cool. I didn't realize that's what it was until I read about it. The lace shirt is so cute with the headband and so is the other outfit with the orange leggings! Your view is amazing...wine makes it even better, I'm sure!

Yay! So glad first day went well! Love the embroidery on this week's layout. I did that on a layout recently and spent a LONG time sewing. It looks so nice but is super time consuming. :)

I had a little "summer ending pitty party" awhile back, but now that the girls have been in school for a week and a half, I'm good and totally ready for fall! Haha! Your PL is looking awesome and I love the embroidery you did!
