Perpetual Monthly Wall Calendar

Are you still in shock that its already 2013? I am!

New Year's always flies by for me. AJ's birthday is the day before, and we always go out to dinner to celebrate. So New Year's sneaks up right behind his birthday, and then, before I know it, its the second or third!

But, I'm still off from work until Monday, so I've had lots of time to craft!

One of the things I made was this calendar.

I've been holding onto this frame for months and it was time to do something with it!

It was so easy to put together. I just cut strips of paper and created boxes with washi tape.

The papers are my favorite. They are from the Jillibean Soup Mystery Box and I love how cheerful they are!
From left to right, they are:
Summer Squash Soup {small hot pepper}
Chicken Noodle {dried egg noodles}
Pasta Fagioli {shell macaroni}
Dutch Mustard Soup {creme fraiche - reverse side}
Blossom Soup {lime wedges}
Dutch Mustard {cornstarch}
Minestrone {elbow macaroni}

I'm so excited to use this calendar. Now I just need to find a nail so I can hang it up!

I LOVE your new calendar! I have been wanting to make something similar for a while - I just need to find a good frame and pick the paper (which in my opinion is the hardest part!!)

Love the calendar and adore the paper that you used. I am jealous that you are home crafting...lol. I am striving to get at least three 2 page layouts done over the weekend.

This is so cute Katie!!!! What a great idea! I love that you're getting so much crafting done. I would have loved a couple of more days at home to get some things done, but it just didn't happen. Maybe this weekend!!

I can't wait until I complete year end..it doesn't seem like 2013 is here when I'm still working in 2012, lol.

That's amazing, I saw something like that before Christmas but they used paint swatches from DIY stores. You idea is much better as I have loads of 12x12 sheets I could use

Thank you for re-inspiring me
Happy 2013
