WOYWW {01.23.2013}

Its already Wednesday! And that means its time for WOYWW. The day where crafters from around the world link up with Julia and then get to sneak a peek at each other's desks! Yay for Wednesday :)

I'm sorry for the blurry picture. I took it while I was brushing my teeth and running out the door this morning, and I didn't realize it was blurry until I got it uploaded. But by then, it was too late!

My desk is kind of a mish mash of a million projects right now! Project Life, a secret project I can't talk about yet (aka. a gift), all my alphabet stickers are out.

And the markers are out from a test AJ and I were taking - the 1930's Marriage Test to be exact.

There are paper versions you can print out (if you want to put it in your project life album like I do!) or you can take the online version here.

I'm sad to say that I would just be an average housewife back in the day. Apparently wearing red nail polish and the occasional curse word kept me from reaching "superior" status!

How do you stack up against a 1930's housewife?

I don't think I'd be a good 1930's housewife. I'll have to go check it out. Lots of good things going on on your desk. We love Chicago. Hubs & I lived in Chicago, pre-kids, in Roscoe Village/lakewood area. His Dad lives in Oak Lawn, south side suburb.

That marital test is too funny! I remember Mike and I had a copy of an old article from a women's magazine in the 50's about "how to be the perfect housewife" as a joke.
Quite a few women were offended by it! I thought it was funny actually.

Oh Lawd, I would fail the 1930's housewife test miserably, I refuse to wear a dress and heels while cooking dinner and cleaning house! lol Did AJ ever wrap his head around the whole jar thingie? Thanks for visiting my desk, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥

Your desk looks very busy today! Sometimes you just have to get out a bunch of stuff . . . I would not score well on the housewife quiz -- my husband apparently loves me for other reasons not represented there, because I am not known for my stellar housekeeping! Happy WOYWW from Laura #119

Like the ATG taking centre stage. You look busy today. Oh and I am a very poor (failure) of a 1930's wife, but my Husband and I roared with laughter at the whole scale, so thanks! Happy WOYWW. Cx #84

As for the 1930's wife, I would be alone, lol.
cursing, cold feet that I warm on my spouse, darning his socks, wow.

I scored a 1. And you know what - I don't even care so I would probably lose more points for that! LOL It looks like there are some awesome things to come from your desk. Can't wait to see them. April #110
