Did you know that it is Wednesday? 

I didn't. I was so confused. I planned to share a Project Life layout with you all on Tuesday, but I got all confused and thought Tuesday was Monday. And that today was Tuesday.

But it isn't Tuesday, its Wednesday. 

And I've cleaned my desk! And thanks to Julia I get to post a picture, to prove to future generations to my desk can be clean.

So the layout will wait until Thursday :)

Almost done with this Project Life album...and almost time to move on to the clementine album!

My desk has migrated to the floor. I wanted to see the TV, so this was a better spot for me.

I'm working on making Project Life like cards from Bella Blvd's Sand and Surf papers for a mini album that will eventually be about our honeymoon.

Its Wednesday!

The day that we share our desks and get to sneak peeks at everyone else's, thanks to the fabulous Julia.

Yes, its a touch of a mess, and there are still papers from this layout sitting out. But my desk is here, and unpacked and ready for scrappiness (after a quick clean up of course!)

We couldn't clean up this weekend though, because we had to attend a gala!

It was held at the Louisiana State Museum, with a gorgeous view of the capitol building from the dance floor.

And we got to go into the museum, we had it all to ourselves! I really wanted to pretend I was steering with this wheel, but I was too afraid of getting in trouble!

And I made AJ, the chemical engineer, pose near an oil thingy. It seemed fitting. It would probably make more sense if I could remember the right name for it!

Happy First Day of Spring!

I can't believe it has been a week since I've posted. My time management skills just weren't up to par with this move! I think this is the first time since last week that I've woken up without a "to pack" list a mile long. Of course, that could be because all of our things are in the truck and out of my hands now ;)

But, I'm back from my unintentional bloggy break now!

Since it is Wednesday, I thought I'd share what my desk looked like the last time it was here (so...yesterday!)

My poor cleared off desk (or as AJ said - "Wow babe! That is a really cool looking desk! I've never actually seen what the shape looked like before!"

All of my crafty things are in those boxes...there are more crafty boxes than I could even count. I'd say at least 1/3, if not 1/2 of our boxes were scrap-related!

And since you all have been so nice and looked at my very uninteresting moving pictures...

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is the day that we all share our desk's over at Julia's.

Only my desk is in the middle of being packed up! But we are not going to talk about that that...because if I think about how all of my crafty supplies are being put into boxes not to be seen by me again until the last week of March, I will go home and unpack all those boxes and insist that we take all my crafts in the car with us!

But this desk is being cleaned for happier reasons! A new teacher will be starting on March 11. And who doesn't want a new clean desk for their new job? I know I would!

Mine is still a mess. I was working on my Project Life pages on the couch, but I "put away" the binder on my desk ;) The stamps are left over from the million things we've had to mail to Louisiana for our lease and my certification...I should probably put those away too!

Right now, moving planning has taken over my desk. My calendar is open to April - when we will be in Baton Rouge! I can't believe it.

I'm hoping I can scrap more, but I think its going to be packed up soon :(

Last week, I really needed to clean my desk, as we had moving people coming to give us an estimate.

My desk is still in a state of epic messiness. I'm not sure exactly what is happening, but I do know that this weekend, it will get organized, because we have a moving company coming in some time next week to give us a quote.

Speaking of, does anyone know of a good moving company that will do cross-country moves? We called Mayflower and one more but the name escapes me right now. But we are still looking around!

My desk hasn't had much going on lately. I spent my whole weekend doing wedding crafting (on the floor) so my scrapping was largely ignored.

Project Life is just sitting there...but I will be working on it tonight so I am ready to share on Friday!

Its already Wednesday! And that means its time for WOYWW. The day where crafters from around the world link up with Julia and then get to sneak a peek at each other's desks! Yay for Wednesday :)

I'm sorry for the blurry picture. I took it while I was brushing my teeth and running out the door this morning, and I didn't realize it was blurry until I got it uploaded. But by then, it was too late!

My desk is kind of a mish mash of a million projects right now! Project Life, a secret project I can't talk about yet (aka. a gift), all my alphabet stickers are out.

And the markers are out from a test AJ and I were taking - the 1930's Marriage Test to be exact.

I'm sad to say that I would just be an average housewife back in the day. Apparently wearing red nail polish and the occasional curse word kept me from reaching "superior" status!

Hi everyone!

Happy WOYWW! I'm linking up with Julia today to share my (kind of messy) desk!

I'm going to get right to the desk today, because I am not feeling wonderful. Its funny, I felt fine all break, no migraines or anything! But school starts again and I start to feel sick again. I honestly think it is related to my classroom's temperature (incredibly cold). But, there is nothing I can do about that, except keep bundling up for work!

I took this picture this morning. So early this morning that it is still dark outside! Right now, I'm mostly working on getting caught up on Project Life. Now that the Christmas decorations are down, I'd really like to finish up my Christmas PL pages!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today, my workdesk is actually on my floor.

After I made the gingerbread wreath yesterday night, my apartment was a mess! There was fabric, strips of paper, ribbon, yarn and cotton balls every where!

I spent most of last night cleaning and watching the election. And this is all that is left of the mess

Tonight I'll be sitting here working on my next Project Life layout!

My work desk this Wednesday is my actual work desk. I have so much grading (and cleaning and organizing) to do!

I hate when my work desk gets so crazy! I definitely need to catch up on this grade - the trimester ends in just a few weeks!

Happy Wednesday! Its halfway through our week, which means its time for another WOYWW!

My desk is a disaster. I was vaccumming and picked a few things up and threw them on my desk (like the Jared's bag full of ribbons and the box of ribbons too!)

I also got a new mug from Shutterfly and opened it up at my desk, then left all of the packaging on my desk...I'm not sure why!

Last week, I had the beginnings of this layout on my desk. If you are interested, the finished layout is here.

So, my plan was to have my pumpkin picking layout started and to share the story with you today. Obviously, I didn't start the layout yet (I went to dinner with a girlfriend who just got engaged instead!)

But, I will still tell the story!

AJ and I love to go pumpkin picking. We've gone in both New Jersey and New York. We always go to big farms and orchards where there are lots and lots of pumpkins, and apples and corn and everything else.

So this year, we thought we lucked out living in Illinois. There are tons of farms out here! We researched on line and found a place that had all kinds of things - a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, even a haunted barn!

But, it was almost 2 hours away!

We decided to have an adventure and drive out there. After getting lots and taking over two hours to get there, we pulled up...and we couldn't help but laugh!

That was it! That was the entire size of the farm. It took us less than 15 minutes to walk around and look at the pumpkins. Then we got back in the car for our long trip home! Although not before we took a cute pumpkin patch picture!

Hi everyone!

I can't believe it is only Wednesday. This week is dragging on and on. But, on the bright side, its time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Its been a long time since I linked up here...probably because my desk has been a messy mess with no room for scrapping for a long time! But thanks to a big clean up, and an even bigger burst of inspiration, my desk is a scrappy place once again!

I actually took this photo Tuesday night just before I went to bed, because let's be honest, there is no way I have enough time to take it Wednesday morning before I go to work! Its just too early in the morning. But rest assured that my desk looks exactly the same now (except for the cell phone, I brought that to work with me!)

In the middle is a layout in progress about my brother, who is in law school. I love this picture of him that I took of him after I dropped him off at his internship. I loved how the circles looked in Mary Pat's layout on Monday, and they inspired the rectangles here. I still need to add the journaling and some embellishment, but I was so exhausted that I just had to get to bed.

And everything else is left over from the layouts I'd been working on Saturday and Sunday!

Its been a long time since I've linked up with WOYWW. But, with school starting again, I'm finally back into a routine! I'm so excited!

My desk is a disaster today! The empty tissue box will be altered to hold those plastic bags you get at the grocery store. I'm really excited about that project...whenever I can get to it!

Good morning (or afternoon or evening or middle of the night depending on where you are!)

I'm finally linking up with Julia for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday again, since what is on my workdesk is a project and not just a big messy pile of nothing!

In the upper left hand corner, on top of the box of markers, you can see the albums I bought from Pick Your Plum. I have a few ideas for those! In the middle is my Week in the Life binder...although it still needs a cover And of course, my tea cup, it was actually left there Tuesday night when I was scrapping and got up to answer the phone, then AJ came home and we left to go grocery shopping, and the poor tea cup was left sitting on my desk in all the confusion! I didn't even realize I'd forgotten it until I looked at the picture, but no worries, I'll wash it today :)
