The internet went down for most of the day yesterday, so I was able to get my room all cleaned and organized! Now its just a few little things (and lesson planning, but let's pretend that's all done!) and I'm ready to start the school year!
And even better - today I'm going to be ordering a ton of pictures from Shutterfly so I can really start scrapping again! I've got a few mini books in the works that I can't wait to share, and I am way way behind on Find Your Voice. So I'm definitely looking forward to that.
But before I do all that, I do have this layout to share with you.
So, I have mixed views about the photos I take when out and about. Part of me loves to take pictures of the sights that we are visiting. But another part loves to take pictures of us in front of them. To prove we were actually there or something. I'm not sure...but I usually end up with a nice mix of us (or usually, AJ) and the sights.
But when I was on my Goodbye Chicago tour, I went a little crazy taking selfies. But in my defense, I was by myself, and I wasn't handing my big girl camera to anyone I didn't know to take my picture! (I only recently started letting AJ use it...I don't like when people touch my things...I'm working on it...)
To be honest, I felt a little silly putting together a whole page of me. But then I realized, that whole day was about me. I was by myself doing whatever I wanted, so I decided to just scrap them anyway! And its my scrapbook anyway!

They are great and fun pictures....and like you said , you are documenting a day all about you and your good bye Chicago tour...nothing at all wrong with documenting your day and I personally think it is great that you are included in your layout!!!!

i do feel funny taking selfies sometimes but I get over it! I love your page of all selfies!! It's great to see all the Chicago landmarks!
So glad things are coming together for school and you're falling into a routine :) I absolutely love this layout! I never take pics of myself and I really should. I'm hardly ever in my layouts. This is great Katie!!
