Happy Wednesday!
This summer, I really wanted to make a goldfish wreath. It was partly inspired by goldfish crackers, and part by my new fish doormat from Target (that I totally forgot to photograph and now its dark outside and the bugs are there...so I'll try to add one after work when its light out!)
I actually started it in May, but then life happened and I got sidetracked.
So while my mom was here and I was hanging out on the couch, we finished sewing the fishies and stuffing them with polyfil!
I used matching thread for two of the fish, and contrasting thread for the third one. I like how simple it is, but from far away (like when I'm driving up to the house after work), it looks like the fishies are swimming on my door! And it makes me smile :)
Do you dress up your door for summer?

This turned out so cute. My door is pretty exposed to the elements so I am afraid to hang anything out there. :(
Awh I love it, asks when I saw this I thought immediately of goldfish crackers!!
Your wreaths are always so cute.
Those yellow fishes really do look like goldfish crackers!!!
You wrap your yarn so perfectly Katie.
This turned out so cute! I love the puffy goldfish! I thought of goldfish crackers too!
So darn cute!
I do have some very generic wooden flag hangers that we put up.
One is just a rectangle wooden flag.
the other is around fourth of july and it's three wooden stars with in red white and blue flag motiff
Now I have my back to school wooden hanger. In a few weeks I will hang the "Pumpkin patch" one and then Evan's spooky ghoul will go up for Halloween. We do a lot of rotating.
What a cute idea!! If we run out of goldfish crackers it's a nightmare! Such goodness from a little cracker!
