But, that makes it even funnier when the Mets beat the Phillies, because he gets so mad when they lose to such a "bad" team. And I get mad when he calls my team bad.
I very rarely make one page layouts, but I thought I would try some :)
I wanted to do something with the colors. They clash, like the teams. So I cut out 2x2 squares of red (for the Phillies), and blue and orange (for the Mets). I didn't have to cut out any white, because I used a white page. I used them all to make a quilt.
I started drawing in "stitch" marks (you can see on the top row) but then I realized it made more sense to draw them in after I'd placed all my pictures, journaling and embellishments, so that I didn't have to draw as many! Aren't those little baseball players cute? I made them with the Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls. I love that cartridge, there are so many cute things you can use from it, and I love making the little people to go on the pages!
But I really love how the quilt marks pull it all together. Before, the colors weren't very cohesive, but the quilt lines made it all come together.
I really like how it turned out!
