Four More Layouts!

I cannot believe it is Friday already! What a busy week it has been!

This week, as a kick off to Valentine's Day Month, I've been sharing parts of the scrapbook I made for AJ this November (you can check out the first two posts here and here). So, to wrap up this week, I'm going to share a few more :)

I love love love this paper! It is from My Little Shoebox's City by the Boy collection. The bicycles in the paper are my favorite, because bringing my bike to Chicago was a very big deal. I really really wanted it to come, but AJ didn't think it would fit in the truck or the apartment. He was wrong about the truck, but kind of right about the apartment! Now, I'm not saying he was definitely right, but if you want, you can read this post from July and come to your own conclusions...
For this layout, I used the Echo Park Summer Days giveaway I won from Mary Pat again (seriously, this paper is awesome!) AJ really loved the page, but he turns to me and goes, "Babe, you left our my Lucky's Challenge. Did you forget it?"

Of course I didn't forget it! It was such an awesome day, it needed its own special page! He was so excited to see it showcased. And then he said he should try the challenge again! Ummm, I'm not sure if I want to re-live this! The papers are from the Recollections Night and Day (I think??) again.

Right before I made this book, AJ ran a 10k. It was his first race ever and he was really proud of it, so I thought this need its own special page too! I was doing this page (and this whole book!) during a scrapbook weekend I went to in November, and this was my last page, which I did at 2am. It was one of those pages that just was not working out how I wanted it to, and I really wanted to show AJ crossing the finish line, but he came in right behind someone else (who we did not know and was making a not so flattering face at the time) so the picture really needed to be cropped down teeny tiny, but then it got lost on the page. I was getting so frustrated, but then with a little bit of playing and some encouragement from everyone else who was still awake, I think it turned out really well!

Okay, well, that is it for my AJ scrapbook! I hope you enjoyed looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Do you have fun plans for the Super Bowl (or as my mom would say, Stupid Bowl)? We are having a ton (literally, a ton, way more people than I expected!) over to our (small) apartment to watch the game. So I will be spending most the weekend cooking and cleaning and getting ready for the party!
