Ring Layout and a Layout in Progress

I am so excited that it is finally Friday! And all of our classes are shortened today at school because we have a special celebration mass in the afternoon!

Aaaand, its our last day of eating soup and shakes - although I have to be honest, I cheated. I really didn't like the soup, so yesterday and today, I decided to have an apple with peanut butter and a string cheese instead of soup. Not exactly what I'm "supposed" to be eating, but it doesn't have a carb, and its much healthier than anything I'd have chosen before, so I consider it a plus!

Tomorrow I finally get to eat a carb again - quinoa! Yaaaay! But the best part of tomorrow is having actual meals where we will be actually sitting down eat again together. With the shakes, we just drink the shake at whatever our four hour mark is (which is different because our breakfasts and lunches are at different times) and we don't get to really eat together.

I'm definitely going to be missing our pizza tradition tonight though! Friday nights we watch trashy TV and order in (usually pizza!) I'm really going to miss that around 7pm tonight!

But AJ and I have something very special happening this weekend...I'll be sharing more about it soon, but all I'm going to say now is that it is wedding related!

So, until then, I'm going to share some layouts from my pre-wedding book!

This first page is my ring page...its totally not scrapbooky at all, but I was having a lot of fun taking pictures of my ring one night, and I needed a "divider" between the engagement pages and the page about going to look for venues, and I knew my ring would be perfect! (Sorry its sideways...I didn't know how to fix it!)

This page is still "in progress", but I thought I'd share it. This is a page about our venue and the tasting we had there. The room with the brick and the fireplace is for the cocktail hour, and the room with the pretty lights is for the reception! In the fall, they decorate the mantels with fall leaves, pumpkins and hay :) I'm still deciding how to decorate the white card that is hiding my journaling, and how to decorate behind the image of the cocktail hour room. I often scrap like this, letting the pictures hang out and then seeing what comes out of it!

Well, I'm off to go enjoy my apple cinnamon shake and delight in the fact that it is Friday!!!! Do you have any fun weekend plans?

Love the ring page! I also scrap like that. Sometimes my best ideas come to me in the middle of the night or during the day at work.

Hope you enjoyed your carbs! :)
