Scavenger Hunt Sunday {6 24 2012}
I love how quiet this weekend was! Yesterday, AJ went golfing, and I went to the farmer's market. Then, I read and relaxed and just didn't do a thing!
That was a huge change from Friday, when I decided to move all the furniture in the bedroom! When we first moved, I was afraid to put the bed too close to the window, because I don't love being high up. But now I'm really used to it, so I moved the bed over to the window, because when it was far away, all we could see is the building next door. Now we can see the lake! I'm glad we will get to enjoy the nice view for the next few months (until we move again!)
This morning, we are going to a new parishioner mass at our church, and there is a little brunch after. I'm excited, because I've never been to something like that before!
But, before we go, its time for Scavenger Hunt Sunday!
Warped
I love the trees in Lincoln Park. They sprayed a bunch of them different colors, and this one is all bendy and warped.
Concentric Circles
I had trouble finding concentric circles. Until I went to my favorite frozen yogurt place on Wednesday. This is their awning.Their frozen yogurt is so so yummy, my favorite is the peanut butter chocolate swirl. It tastes exactly like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!
Gear
AJ asked me to bring him home a frozen yogurt, from a mile away, when I was walking, in the middle of the heat wave! That definitely required some gear - I packed up my lunch box full of ice packs and a frozen gatorade bottle. But the frozen yogurt made it home in tact!
Glazed
We went to a pop up restaurant on Friday night. The fries came with this amazing dippy-glazey-I'm-not-sure-what-it-was-but-it-was-so-good dip. Yep, that's the official name for it.
Marble
I always pass this statue when I walk in Lincoln Park, and we even took some of our engagement photos here. But I never look at it from below. I'm not sure if its marble, but its some kind of rock.
Well, we are off to church and brunch. I hope you are having a great weekend!

Sounds like a great week! I had a relaxing one too!! All of your shots are great as usual. That froyo sounds so good! Chocolate-Peanut Butter would be my favorite too!! That was smart of you to pack AJ's in ice packs!! It must be so nice to see the lake from your bedroom window. I've never seen trees painted like that...I guess it doesn't hurt them?
Those trees are awesome! It makes me want to visit. These are great!
Wow, fantastic finds! You and I have similiar fro-yo likes! Anyting PB please! Love that warped tree, too!
Your set looks great. That glazed shot with the french fry looks so yummy.
Great set! Love the warped and painted trees! Also, love the glazed shot! Looks delicious!
I'll have to try your yogurt packing technique, I picked up ice cream tonight and it was all melty by the time I got home, and it's like a three minute drive! Seriously. Those trees are super cool! Glad you had a nice relaxing weekend. Hope AJ schedule is back to normal this weekend :)
Very interesting set. I liked the Glazed - Sounds yummy and Marble Shots. Those warped trees were indeed warped and a bit odd to with them being painted different colors.

Great set! Hi from www.bellabeanphoto.com
Nice job with the prompts. I love warped! Why were the trees painted? Soak up chicago while you can. I do love that city!
