Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July!
I am doing a scrapbook about our engagement. I have a page about how we got engaged, am working on one about our venue, and just finished some pages showcasing our engagement photos (Are you getting sick of me talking about these yet?! I promise its the last time they show up for a while, probably until I make the guest book for the wedding!)
I really love how quickly this all came together with the divided pages. All I really did was cut some patterned paper to fill in the blank spots, but I left it like that. I really wanted the pictures to shine and I love these patterns, so I didn't want to mess with them too much!
What did you do to celebrate the Fourth of July?
We went to a barbeque Tuesday night, but Wednesday, we just stayed home and relaxed. It was 103 degrees here yesterday, so we stayed inside - except when I had to run to Best Buy to get an external hard drive. My computer keeps making these scary noises, so I wanted to make sure I backed up everything in case it crashes! I also learned that Fourth of July is a great day to do laundry. There was no one in the laundry room at all! I got 6 loads done :)
Well I'm off to fold some laundry, see you all tomorrow!

your photos are fantastic!!
The divided page protectors were perfect for this! I think just adding in the patterned paper for the blank spots was a great idea. Holidays are great ideas to be productive!
That's very pretty paper and I love the layout (and the photos too of course!!). Hey, good to know about the laundry!! You were very productive!!
We were lazy and didn't do much!
Nope I never tire of your smiling face, these photos are wonderful.
It has been hot here as well, as much as I don't mind it, everyone is complaining.....I keep reminding them we could be shoveling 5ft of snow, teehee.
I love how you are keeping the main focus on the photos. Gives it an understated elegance :)
And it is a very important and special time for you, so it is fun to see your excitement. Brings back memories of those days.
Although for some reason Mike and I didn't do engagement photos. Not sure why, but I wish we had :)
What wonderful pictures Katie....I must say your lovely colored dresses add a special touch to such happy pictures!
