Project Life 25 {Week 8}

I decided to walk over to the beach this morning to read a little bit before I started my long to-do list for today! But as I was walking, I realized that I forgot to post my project life page!

But, I'm back from the beach now, so here it is!

I kept messing up on this page. I smudged my date stamp really badly on my title card, so I ended up using my scraps to cover it up. I like how it turned out, but I'm still upset my stamp was so smudgey! I decided to use everything with the striped theme so it would tie into my cover up!

For the second page, I decided to put all picture of my parents' visit, well, the first day of it anyway! I really wanted to include the brochure for the architecture tour, but it was too large for the pockets. Instead, I cut the seam between the pockets out, and slipped the brochure into the new large pocket. I really like how it worked out! And now I have a big space to put my journaling for next week!

I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend! Although AJ and I need to go to Auto Zone - his car broke down again! We think its just a hose that needs to be fixed, but I am worried that his car is done and we will need to buy a new one. That payment is just not in the cards until after we move! Hopefully we can make this one last for a few more months!

What are your plans for this weekend?

Isn't it great how sometimes our mistakes end up being something really great? Point and case with your stripes.

Great pages Katie.
I like how you tucked in the brochure.
