Chicago Field Museum Bioluminescence Layout

Its Wednesday already?! How did that happen? Oh yeah, I'm a teacher and forgot what day it is. Honestly, I'd forget to eat and clean and sleep and spend all my time scrapping if AJ wasn't here to remind me!

As part of my Good Bye Chicago tour (after the Shedd Aquarium, but before the skyline), I stopped at the Field Museum. While I've seen most of the museum, they had a new exhibit on bioluminescence that I really wanted to check out. And it was so worth it!

Unfortunately, you couldn't take pictures of the exhibit, but that didn't stop me from scrapping the experience!

I was so excited to find a reason to use this bug paper - a huge part of the exhibit was about fireflies!

Its been so fun sharing my Chicago layouts (and I have two more left!) They remind me of the awesome experience we got to have while we lived there.

But, those two layouts will have to wait, because tomorrow I'll finally be sharing the centerpieces I made for a friend's surprise party! I had to wait for the party to be over first!

Also - if you haven't checked out this week's Find Your Voice worksheet, you totally should check out page 9 of the pdf here ;)

Great layout!
I have only been to the field museum once and wish we would have had more time to look around! We were pretty rushed that day.

Ooh, this sounds like a cool exhibit. When I first moved back out to the East coast (well, east of the Mississippi) and I saw fireflies for the first time in AGES I was like a kid. Heck, every summer when I see them i get excited. LOL. Something so cool about them and nostalgic I guess. I have woods behind my house so at night they really stand out back there and in my yard too. :-)
