As part of my Good Bye Chicago tour (after the Shedd Aquarium, but before the skyline), I stopped at the Field Museum. While I've seen most of the museum, they had a new exhibit on bioluminescence that I really wanted to check out. And it was so worth it!
Unfortunately, you couldn't take pictures of the exhibit, but that didn't stop me from scrapping the experience!
I was so excited to find a reason to use this bug paper - a huge part of the exhibit was about fireflies!
Its been so fun sharing my Chicago layouts (and I have two more left!) They remind me of the awesome experience we got to have while we lived there.
But, those two layouts will have to wait, because tomorrow I'll finally be sharing the centerpieces I made for a friend's surprise party! I had to wait for the party to be over first!
Also - if you haven't checked out this week's Find Your Voice worksheet, you totally should check out page 9 of the pdf here ;)

I love how your are able to document the visit even with minimal pictures! Sounds like a great exhibit...I have always been fascinated by fireflies and you had the perfect paper!
What a cool picture and I love that paper!! Perfect!
We were in Chicago for the last two days. I love it there. :)
Love that word--bioluminescence! That paper is so fun!! I bet it was a great exhibit. Can't wait to see the centerpieces!
Another great layout!
Looking forward to seeing your centerpiece from the party :)
Great layout!
I have only been to the field museum once and wish we would have had more time to look around! We were pretty rushed that day.
