You may notice there is actually a layout on my desk! I was feeling much better today, so when AJ went to read before bed (we are both reading Pillars of the Earth together) I decided to scrapbook a bit. After all, I read for a whole hour during my lunch break today!
I totally took Becky's idea (just like I said I would!) and use my divided pages to make a page. I still wanted to do a double layout though, because I have a cute idea to use the back of the right page to make a New Year's Eve/Resolutions layout. My only issue is I don't normally write my resolutions down...or make more than one at a time! But, for the sake of this really cute idea in my head, I may break my Resolution Rules! But right now is not about that layout, its about this one!
I love these letters. They came in a value pack together from Michaels, and I couldn't wait to use them for this layout! I had to outline the zebra letters though, since it didn't pop on the cream paper, but I couldn't use colors with the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom letters!
I love these little red tags that Santa left for me out east with a lovely note reminding me that no matter where I go, as long as I believe, he will be able to find me :) And he got me the perfect crafty supplies - card bases, stamps and these fabulous tags!
I cut the divider part out here, so that I could slip in a taller photo, and I love the little reindeer hanging out around this fabulously lit tree!
A quick shot of the journaling, since I have been trying to journal a lot more lately! And its been working, I found out that I love to write the story of what we were doing, and I love going back to read what I've written long after I wrote it! I even love all my spelling errors and "typos" which my brother and my boyfriend both love to find! What about you, do you journal on your pages?

Hi Katie - thanks so much for calling by. I love the LOs! Err, and your recipe which I just spotted :)) Di xx
I do hand write my journalising Katie, it sounds very pompous, but years from now my writing will say a lot about my character...I have no idea for example, what my grandma's handwriting was like. ...and, it's kinda like signing your pages! Love your Lincoln Park LO, works really well in the pockets, great use ofan idea.
Great desk and thankyou for sharing. I don't do journals's scrapbooking but after seeing so many lovely ides while I am trying to visit everyone this week I might try. Happy New Year. Anne x
I love hand writing things :) Haha...I should stop writing my resolutions down...they are the same every year! Cute pages! Thank you for sharing.

The zoo lights look wonderful. All those lights wrapped in the trees. It must have a been a great time. I love your pages and it was a great idea to slit the divider to hold the tall photo. I'd say you rocked your project!
Looks like a very creative spot! Love your layouts and your desk. I need to get back to my books...so behind!
